It’s Child’s Play – Part II

Transform a children’s game/toy into a participatory neighborhood activity

Brief
Identify an historical game or toy in the V&A Young Museum’s collection that has the potential to be transformed into a large scale participatory intervention in London’s Kings Cross neighborhood. The intervention should be site specific and relate to the chosen area, and celebrate playful learning through creativity and multigenerational activities and experiences. Go ahead, find your inner child, and envision a solution that is highly interactive and welcoming to a broad audience. Work in teams to develop the content and quickly rendered design solutions.

Process
Phase 1: Research and Design Analysis (Absorb)
Phase 2: Concept and Design Proposal (Ideate)
Phase 3: Detailed Design Solutions (Develop)
Phase 4: Design Documentation and Intent (Present)
