Project: Develop a projected media intervention for a specific York location. Integrate it into the built environment. Engage people in a storytelling experience that celebrates a city known for its famous and infamous historic celebrities and happenings. The City of York is riddled with hidden stories and infamous historical characters. Students installed a series of projected media interventions at specific locations in the city to feature these celebrities, tell their story and bring them to life for a contemporary audience. The final film presentations comprised of eight two-minute night time outdoor projections as part of a public walking tour. Each location had a connection to the character and was within the city center defined by the Roman walls.
